SelfBuild Tracker is a budgeting and planning tool designed for individuals managing their own house build in Ireland. It helps you record costs, plan upcoming work, track funds and drawdowns, and stay organised throughout your project.

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use by self-builders and homeowners. It is not a replacement for professional advice or services.

SelfBuild Tracker does not provide financial, legal, tax, construction, engineering, surveying, or any other professional advice. All figures, estimates, calculators, suggested splits, and insights in the App are for general organisational and tracking purposes only.

You should always consult qualified professionals (such as architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, accountants or solicitors) before making any decisions related to your build, your finances, or your legal obligations.

You are solely responsible for any data you enter into the App, including budgets, costs, suppliers, dates, notes, receipts and any other information.

You must independently verify all costs, quotes, invoices, budget figures, dates and other information before relying on them. The App reflects what you put in — it does not validate, audit, or confirm the accuracy of your inputs.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability or availability of any information, calculation, estimate or feature in the App.

We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the App, including (but not limited to) cost savings, staying within budget, on-time completion, or the successful completion of your project.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SelfBuild Tracker, its owners, employees and contributors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from your use of the App. This includes (but is not limited to) financial loss, cost overruns, project delays, missed deadlines, lost profits, lost data, or decisions made based on information in the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims relating to the App is limited to the total amount you have paid us for access to the App (currently €50).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

You use the App entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for how you interpret and act on any information shown, generated or stored in the App.

We aim to keep the App available and working correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or always-available service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues or matters outside our control.

We accept no responsibility for any loss of data, data corruption, downtime, service interruptions, or technical issues that may affect access to or use of the App.

We take reasonable steps to keep your data secure and stored in our cloud database, but we cannot guarantee against loss, corruption or unauthorised access in all circumstances.

You are encouraged to keep your own copies and backups of any important information. You can export your data at any time from the Account page in the App.

Access to the App is provided through a one-time payment (currently €50). There is no recurring subscription.

Because access is granted immediately on payment, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at support@selfbuildtracker.com and we will review your request in good faith.

You are responsible for keeping your login details (email and password) secure and confidential. You must not share your account, login details, or access with anyone else.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at support@selfbuildtracker.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We may update, change, add or remove features of the App at any time as we improve the product. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate.

Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
